| Kenny Hirschhorn Staff Writer Capital City Free Press I have coined a new expression for our vernacular: Neosputum, a compound word, fusing sputum: a substance like phlegm or mucus that is expectorated through the mouth, with neo-conservatism: an elitist political philosophy aimed at the rejection of liberalism, emphasizing Christianity and militarism. Neo-conservative Republicans revere despotic figureheads and pontificating pundits like George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh; subhuman fascists who ooze toxic arrogance and pomposity. The “great unwashed” of ‘Merica are acutely susceptible to the Neo-Con's viscous discharge of theocratic tenets and xenophobic propaganda. They are obliviously ignorant, flourishing like maggots in the warm underbelly of sanctimony and self-righteousness, coveting bigotry and pseudo-superiority from the pews of their sectarian citadels, to the grandstands of their motor-speedways. Whether they are accusing brave men of cowardice, condemning adversaries for their own civic and fiscal incompetence, committing atrocities, manipulating the media, tampering with elections, suborning hatred of foreigners, or supplanting biblical dogma for science... we must call out the perpetrators, the true evildoers, and expose them for their hypocrisy and immorality. This putrid leach of noxious subterfuge shall, from this day forth, be know as Neosputum. |
