Kristin Thomas was destined for a life of pursuing expression and pushing the boundaries of society and thought. From an early age she exhibited talent in the use of both the written word and artistic representation. Traveling Europe and the Far East with her military family, she was greatly influenced by her exposure to various societies, cultures and the works of the great masters within them.
In 1997, Kristin was accepted into the Fine Arts program at Auburn University Montgomery. It was there that she realized her abilities as an artist and writer and began to hone her skills. In 2000, Kristin graduated from AUM with a Bachelor of Arts degree and relocated to Washington, D.C.
Continuing what she began at AUM, Kristin was hired as a graphic designer for a prominent law firm and also became the senior writer and a photo-journalist for the Capital City Free Press. In 2004, Kristin left the law firm to accept a position at Animators At Law as a graphic designer and trial consultant. She continues to publish her writing and photos on Capcityfreepress.com and is currently writing a book. |
